On this 5-day lodge safari, you will visit the Tarangire and Serengeti National Park as well as the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you immerse in Africa’s breath-taking nature and wildlife. Tarangire National Park is an endless tree savannah including the impressive baobab trees and seasonal marshes. It is also home to the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. In addition to elephants you are also likely to spot giraffes, buffaloes, lions, zebras, gnus and other types of antelopes and gazelles. The Serengeti National Park offers a multitude of wildlife, lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, leopard and much more. It is also the heart of the annual wildebeest migration. The Ngorongoro Crater is a huge volcanic caldera, covering 100 sq.miles (260 sq.km) in Northern Tanzania. The Crater is a World Heritage Site, and is seasonally home to over 25,000 animals in including a wide variety of birds, hyenas and the “Big Five”. This tour includes an overnight stay at Lake Burunge Tented Camp, two nights at Kati Kati Camp in the Serengeti and ends off with an overnight stay at Farm Dreams Lodge. Scheduled Safari: Minimum 2 guests needed to depart and maximum 7 per vehicle with a guaranteed window seat and departures on Tuesdays and Friday

Day 1
Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Tented Camp
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and after a short briefing, you will be taken to the Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival at the park, your driver will open the roof of the vehicle and the extensive wildlife viewing will begin. Later you head to your camp for check in and some well deserved relaxation.Overnight at Lake Burunge Tented Camp on full board basis
Day 2
Tarangire Area – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will depart towards the Rift Valley, passing through Mto Wa Mbu and Karatu, in the cooler regions of the crater highlands. You will enter the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and stop for a short look into the crater from a viewing platform. Continuing your journey around the crater to the Naabi Hill entrance gate, you can walk to a viewpoint with spectacular views across the plains of the Serengeti savannah. Later in the afternoon, you arrive at your camp just in time for sundowners. Overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp on full board basis
Day 3
Serengeti National Park
Tented Camp
A full day of Serengeti game drives with lunch at a picnic spot en-route. You might witness the great migration with hundred thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thompson gazelles, depending on the time of year. With fluctuations in rainfall, this timetable can of course change, resulting in the animals migrating during different times and routes. Your guide will try his outmost to find the animals and will make sure that you can see the animals from the best spot in the national park. Overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp on full board basis.
Day 4
Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Breakfast at daybreak then journey from the Serengeti back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch will be taken en-route at a designated picnic spot. On reaching the crater’s edge, the 19 km diameter caldera opens up before you in all its stunning glory and you will descend into the crater on an adventurous trail. Exiting the crater on a different ascent road, you will drive to Karatu, where you will spend the night at The Farm of Dreams House on full board basis.
Day 5
Karatu – Arusha
After a relaxing breakfast, you will return to Arusha, arriving around noon. Those who wish to combine this safari with a trip to Zanzibar can take a flight from the local Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport. Lunch will be taken en-route.
