Maasai Mara National Reserve is an area of preserved savannah wilderness in south west of Kenya, along the Tanzanian border. Its animals include lions, cheetahs, elephants, zebras and hippos. Wildebeest traverse its plains during their annual migration. The landscape has grassy plains and rolling hills, and is crossed by the Mara and Talek rivers. The area nearby is dotted with villages (enkangs) of Maasai people.

Itinerary

Day 1
Nairobi -Maasai Mara
Lodge
Morning pick up from a central place in Nairobi, after a briefing on the safari from our representative or driver guide you’ll depart Nairobi for Masai Mara through the floor of the great rift Valley view point 2,700m where you have the first stop over to take some photos, also see the first ITALIAN church where it was built. Proceed to Narok town with a brief stopover then proceed with the drive to Mara arriving in time for lunch, check in, have lunch and later on get ready for the evening 2hrs game drive in the park up to 1830hrs. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge
Day 2
Maasai Mara
Lodge
You will depart the Lodge/camp in the morning after breakfast for the whole day game drive in the park with picnic lunches from 0800hrs to 1600hrs. Your full day game drive will give you a chance to visit the big Mara River where the migration of wildebeest takes place from Serengeti National park to Masai Mara Game reserve. This river has many big Hippos and crocodiles that you will see. Have your picnic lunch then proceed with the game drive as you leave the park heading back to the lodge/camp. You will have an option to visit the Masai Village at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge
Day 3
Maasai Mara -Nairobi
No Accommodation
Early morning game drive 0630hrs -0830hrs before the main breakfast or a hot air balloon safari, enjoy bush breakfast. Go back to the lodge for breakfast/ check out. Leave Masai Mara for Nairobi arriving late afternoon or early evening. Drop off at a central place in Nairobi. End of trip.

Excellent services for my recently concluded Kenya Tanzania Safari. All plans executed as planned. Good choice of accommodation. Best guide I have had on a a safari. I give you 5 star and recommend this company to anyone looking for an experience in East Africa.
