11 day safari

Excellent 5
We have just returned after an 11 day safari through parts parts of Kenya and Tanzania and I must start by saying how wonderful Juius Safaris were to deal with. Whilst we initially booked the tour about 9 months ago we found we were constantly reviewing the itinerary and Julius was very accommodating in this regard accepting the changes my wife and I requested without raising any objections. We found Juius to be a very honest person to deal with as we were a little concerned when we stepped off the plane wondering if he would be there to greet us as we had paid him a substantial deposit prior to our arrival. We need not have had any concerns in this regard as after introducing us to our tour driver in Nairobi Julius remained in regular contact throughout the tour to ensure we were happy with the arrangements. The tour driver we had through Kenya whose name was Sammy was excellent in that we found him to be a careful driver and his knowledge of the animals and their behaviour was superb. The same applied to Edward who drove us through the game reserves in Tanzania. We certainly liked our accommodation at Sweetwaters Tented Camp and the Sopa lodges in Masai Mara and Serengeti. We were quite disappointed however with the Ngoronoro Rhino Lodge which was quite inferior to what we had experienced earlier on in the tour. We would certainly not go to Arusha again. All in all we would certainly not hesitate in recommending Julius Safaris to any of our friends.
