Allen Tanzania Safaris
Jambo! This is the way we Tanzanians welcome old and new friends! Let us tell you about ourselves. Our tour company was founded over a decade ago by Allen G. Mnyenye, our present owner pictured above , who has more than twenty years' experience as a guide. We specialize in organizing wildlife safaris, walking safaris, professional photographic and filming safaris, and cultural safaris into Masai lands and villages , and we also organize groups for climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru. We take a special interest in organizing private family safaris including children of all ages, parents and grandparents, too! Often , families take advantage of our safaris as a great way to observe important birthdays, anniversaries, graduations , or other family events. For your African adventure, you can select one of our customized itineraries to such varied destinations as the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater and the spice islands of Zanzibar. These and many other fully-guided trips are described in the Itineraries section of this site. We can also organize a safari tailor-made to your needs and interests.
BEST SAFARI EVER

We had very warm recommandations about Allen and his safari trips and we decided to try him as our guide for the 12 days Safari in Tanzania. Fron the first moment when we landed in Kilimanjaro airport till the last monet in this airport 12 days later we blessed our decision to go with Allen and his group. We had the greatest saffari of our life (and we did some). Allen and his drivers(Amani and Kelvin ) were very professional in every aspect: knowledge of the wild life every where that we've been, they know where and when to find the animals, they know their habits, they are very carefull drivers with a lot of patience to stop every where that we ask for taking pictures, standing in front of animals for long rewarding time waiting for action etc. Allen knows exectly how the wheather going to be and he changde our schedule accordingly (we went north in Serengeti instead of south due to dryness lack of rain and migration of the animals that changed directions, change the date of our air baloon riding)all with excellent results. We saw everything we wanted and even more then our expectations. The vehicles (4x4 land cruisers) where very comfortable and well equiped for all our photographic and other electronic equipment. The food was excellent and the accomodation great. we slept 4 nights in tented camps a great experience leaving among the wild life very comfortable tents hot water and excellent fresh food, the other nights we spent at lodges that where excellent. We strongly reccommand Allen as an super safari guide in Tanzania. We are already thinking about another trip with Allen. I have no reccommandation for improvement- no need to change enything, all was perfect.

We had wanted to go on safari in Tanzania for many years. Three of our female friends went on safari with Allen and had a wonderful time. Based upon their strong recommendation, Richard and I decided to contact Allen to arrange a personal tour for the two of us. Allen responded quickly to emails, and easily accommodated our wishes, ie, changed our itinerary as we kept adding places we wanted to visit--Kilimanjaro, Serengeti, Arusha, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorango Crater. David, our guide, met us at the airport (and returned us there at the end of our trip) [Allen was already booked for the time that we wanted to go on safari]. Allen met us at our hotel the night we arrived, and made us feel very welcome; we also had the pleasure of having dinner with him one evening at Eileens Trees Inn, which was very clean and offered good food. David was a great guide. He was patient and willing to spend as much time as we wanted. For example, we spent an hour watching two lions stalk zebras. We left camp before sunrise and returned just before dark. David spoke fluent English, and was a careful driver. He really knew where to go to see all the animals. We saw all the big 5, including a rhino, which is rare! David knew that the rangers had visited that part of the park the day before, and his intuition told him that's where a rhino was, and he was right! I was really interested in seeing cats. We lost track of the number of lions, and saw several cheetahs and leopards. Of course, we saw tons of elephants, zebras, etc. David's knowledge of all the amazing birds was an added bonus. We stayed in Katikati tent cabins 3 nights, which was very comfortable, with warm water for showers, and good food. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the long days and undivided attention we received. We had the best safari imaginable - truly a dream come true! Thanks to Allen Tanzania Safari!
