My husband and I enjoyed our African safari in Uganda with Simba Africa Expeditions. The reservations team helped us plan our life time holiday and everything went on well as we expected.Moses our Safari guide/driver was an exceptional driver, skillfully negotiating sharp corners and leading us with alot of care on the bumpy sections of the road in some villages.

We started off the safari at Zziwa Rhino Sanctuary and moved on to Murchison falls where we literally fell in love with the the water falls and the wildlife there, especially the giraffes. Every detail about each animal was extremely fascinating!

Our journey led us onto man's closest relative(the Chimpanzee) in Kibale national park. Seeing these gleeful creatures for the first time in their natural habitats had me on my toes with excitement. I wanted so bad to pick up the baby chimp and take it with me, they were the cutest little things i have ever seen but i knew better than not to as the ranger had given us briefing about the animals.

The scenery on the way to Queen Elizabeth with crater lakes and a glimpse of the Rwenzori ranges left our cameras to do the talking!
With a great fondness for birds, my husband loved the "Kazinga channel" as we came across many African bird species and saw the tree climbing lions. This place is breathtakingly beautiful!

We awoke to a breath of wild scents in Bwindi forest. The peace and serenity this place held was very refreshing.
You could seriously hear a pin drop when a GIANT Silverback started to walk towards us but the ranger's presence assured us all of safety. He gently instructed us to remain calm and not make the creature feel threatened. And he was right as the Silverback just merely passed by us and we in turn went on with our picture taking.

Lake Bunyonyi and Mutanda were all fantastic with a great hike of the Sabinyo.Lake Mburo marked off our awesome safari with beautiful sightings of many zebras and antelopes.

We thank Simba Africa Expedition's team for an incredible Ugandan experience!
I highly Recommend Simba Africa Expedition's to any one looking for a safari in Uganda or East Africa.

From start to finish the whole experience was well planned and perfectly orchestrated. Our evening and morning game drives were full of wildlife and beautiful. We saw lions, elephants, giraffe, a leopard, many types of deer & antelope, hyena, warthogs, and loads of beautiful birds. Both our driver Moses and our guide took fantastic care of us and answered our many questions about the nature around us. The boat ride up the nile to Murchison Falls was equally wonderful, and getting to see the hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife on the water was an incredible experience! I loved every moment of this trip. Thank you Simba Africa Expeditions!

Lovely Drive from Entebbe in comfortable Safari vans.
Lunch found us in Murchison. Accommodation at Fort Murchison lodge.
I loved the tents and the food.

After Lunch we went on a hunt for the animals. Not easy to track lions but we managed to see one in the tall Grass.
Guranteed Elephants, Giraffes, Antelopes, Dung beetles lol, and Hippos.
All sorts of Bird species also could be seen.

Day 2 we were early for breakfast and we went off for the game drive where we so lions on a hunt!
As lions hunt, people come hunting for them too.People come to see how the lions do it and most of the time they never hunt because they are distructed.Let me hope they dont sturve to death!

We had great fun, 25 of us and four safari vans. It was amazingly great and lovely weather it was. The guides were owesome!!!
Many thanks to Simba africa expeditions.

I have worked with Moses at Simba Africa Expeditions Ltd for the past 8 years. He has become a trusted friend when it comes to our travel in Uganda. He has been a driver for my family many time and has also rented quality vehicles to me.

Moses has brought us to Paara Lodge and Murchison Falls many time. Paara is a world class lodge with great food and a nice pool and lobby area. We usually try to make time for a massage at the lodge if we can. If possible, you may want to reserve one of the air-conditioned rooms if possible.

The drive in the park is great. We have seen lions several times and well as many elephants, giraffes, gazelles, and many others. The boat ride is great and you get to see hippos, crocs, many birds, and the end is a great hike up to the falls.

Lake Mburro was disappointing and probably not worth the trip. The lodge is kind of fun but rustic and raw. The food is not good. Advertised wi-fi did not work.

The highlight is seeing zebras. The are amazing and fun to watch. Other than that, there are not any animals you can't see in other parks. The boat ride was a bit lacking, it's a circle around a lake. Its fun to see hippos and some baby crocs, but there wasn't a lot else to see.

We had a great driver from Simba. He knew the roads well. We always felt safe. He had great knowledge of the park. On the way to Mburro from Kampala we stopped at the equator which was fun. We had some food and did touristy shopping. They have good prices on soccer jerseys and local crafts.

This was the trip of a lifetime for me and my 17 year old son! Our guide Moses and his lovely intern Kate picked us up in Kampala and we drove through the country side of Uganda. We stopped for lunch as well as when Moses pointed out the abundant wildlife on the way. We saw multiple Zebras, Impalas, and Monkeys before arriving at our amazing accommodations in the Buhoma community. It was billed as a "tent" but it was more of a cabin with an amazing view. Dinner was delicious and the evening was incredibly tranquil. It was also the hottest shower in all of Uganda!
In the morning after a quick breakfast, we drove to the camp to meet with the Rangers/Gorilla trackers for orientation and instructions. There was an advance team that was already tracking the group of Gorillas, so our hike through the jungle to find them was only 30-40 minutes down into the jungle, but when we got there it was something we will never forget. We were eventually in the middle of a family of 20+ Gorillas and got an hour's worth of pictures and video that we couldn't get anywhere else in the world. We never felt unsafe and our trackers were very helpful in finding spots for great shots. The hike back took about twice as long (as it was uphill), but it made it that much sweeter when we reached the camp.
Following a gorgeous drive back through the National Park, we arrived at our second day accommodations in the Bunyoni Resort on Lake Bunyoni. The resort was very nice and felt like a western resort with great views of the lake. The room was extremely large and comfortable with an oversized patio that overlooked the lake. We had a relaxing and scenic canoe tour around the lake and fresh crawfish for dinner. There was a very friendly and fun atmosphere at the bar in the evening for those not ready to turn in early.
On the drive back to Kampala the following day, we stopped to get even more close up pics of wildlife and stopped for some crafts at the "equator". Moses did a masterful job of dodging the potholes and navigating the traffic in Kampala and safely delivered us back. All in all, 5 out of 5 stars!!
